Google sta sperimentando un prodotto che usa l'intelligenza artificiale per scrivere articoli giornalistici, e ne ha dato una prima dimostrazione ai manager di New York Times, Washington Post e Wall Street Journal.
Il prodotto, conosciuto all'interno di Google con il nome di Genesis, è in grado di prendere informazioni e generare news.
Secondo quanto riporta il New York Times, Mountain View ritiene che Genesis possa servire come assistente personale per i giornalisti, automatizzando alcuni compiti e quindi lasciando più tempo per altri.
